Preparing your home

Please understand that we want to be as productive as possible when cleaning your home. To maximize the value you receive from our service it is helpful to straighten-up and pick-up or put away clothing, toys dishes etc. before your cleaning team arrives. We don’t want to misplace anything.

Employee safety

Maid Solution reserves the right to remove its employees from your home. Should the environment become unsafe, our cancellation policy will apply. Please ensure that your house is well ventilated or air conditioned.

Pets

We will gladly work around pets. If your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, Maid Solution reserves the right to remove its employees from your home. If an employee leaves your home prior to completion, Maid Solution will charge you a pro-rated expense based on work performed.

For the safety of your pets, please CRATE or restrict them to a room for cleaning visits. Individual consideration can be given once teams are familiar with your home and your pets, but to avoid the risk of pets being stressed during a cleaning, or darting out the door, we suggest that pets be confined.

Valuables

Please safely secure heirlooms and collectibles prior to cleanings.

Large and Heavy items

For safety and liability reasons, Maid Solution will not allow its Maids/Cleaners to lift or move heavy items or furniture.

Security

To ensure the security and privacy of our clients, all keys are tagged and coded with a letter and a number identification. Client keys are checked out by the owner to each team leader prior to cleaning and stored in a secure filing cabinet at the office.

Accidents

We do our best to secure your belongings, but sometimes accidents do occur. If something is broken by us, we will either reimburse you or make an equitable adjustment on the cost of your next cleaning.

Payments and Fees:

Payments

Payment is due at time of service. For your convenience, you can provide your credit card details as an option to be stored securely for faster transactions. Your card will be charged once your cleaning is complete. Or if you prefer you can provide us with this information directly over the phone. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. If your credit card cannot be authorized for payment, we will contact you to verify your card information. If the card still cannot be authorized for payment, your account will be subject to the cancellation policy. A chargeback will result in an additional $35 penalty fee per chargeback + any legal, collection, processing, financing and recovery fees we incur to collect money owed to Maid Solution. This includes any account we must refer to collections.  If you are signing up for recurring services and you want to use credit cards, you authorize Maid Solution to retain credit card and billing information for the purposes of recurring and/or mutually agreed upon charges. 

48-hour Cancellation Policy

We aim to provide our clients the highest quality service and we pride ourselves on our exceptional staff. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, we lose not only your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have taken your scheduled appointment time. Our non-cancellation fee is $40. Exceptions to this policy would include things that cannot be foreseen: illness, death in family, etc.

Lock-out Fee

$35 lock out fee: If you elect not to give a key and we can’t access home when we arrive.
